Brian Reed

Brian founded Intersection Technologies, Inc in 2008 along with business partners from Advent Resources and PolSource Development. Intersection Technologies owns the F&I Express platform that is designed to streamline the process of registering and contracting aftermarket products electronically. In addition,
Brian is a seasoned serial entrepreneur with an outstanding track record of shareholder value creation across all business stages. He began his career in 1982 at Mercedes-Benz Credit Corporation. Brian was selected as an “intrapreneur” to form and launch a brand new and independent auto finance company within Mercedes Benz called debis Financial Services, Inc.
Beginning in 1997, Brian also conceived, founded and was named CEO of a new subsidiary of debis called giggo.com. In 1999, in a move to reduce channel conflict, Brian concurrently spun-out giggo.com from then Daimler Chrysler and merged the company into a second major direct Internet auto finance competitor named PeopleFirst.com, with Brian becoming President of PeopleFirst.
In the fall of 2001, Brian then participated in structuring a successful exit for all parties by selling PeopleFirst to Capital One for $178 million. After the sale to Capital One, Brian became Managing Vice President of Direct Internet Lending for Capital One Auto Finance headquartered in Dallas where he integrated and continued to creatively develop and substantially expand the business.
While at Capital One, Brian also often acted as a company spokesperson to consumer and trade press as well as frequently participating in ongoing presentations to Wall Street analysts. He also appeared as a Capital One spokesperson on national television networks including CNN, CNBC, MSNBC,NBC Today Show and others. He has been frequently quoted in major newspapers including the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and LA Times as well as in national magazines such as Newsweek and Business Week.
In November of 2005, Brian was honored by J.D. Powers as a “Pioneer of the Internet” in the automotive markets.
By early in 2006 Brian became the Founding CEO of Pricelock , Inc. Pricelock was founded to research, test and commercialize Internet-delivered local retail energy price management solutions to communities of consumers, small businesses and other small fleet managers, such as government units.
As CEO of Pricelock at inception, Brian developed key relationships with risk management companies such as Goldman Sachs, led the development and filing of 15 patents, conducted extensive market research, raised $1.2 million of Seed Funding from Angels and eventually led the Series A financing of $10 million with Artiman Ventures as the lead with Goldman Sachs participating on a minority basis.
After the Series A funding of Pricelock was completed in December of 2007, Brian left the company to partner with executives from Advent Resources and PolSource to found Intersection Technologies Inc.

Adam, founded the software development company. The business grew to 20+ people and in revenue 500+ % in four years. He organized operations in two geographies: Poland and USA. He also executed key assignments with MSXI International as Sr. Vice President, Global Marketing, Solution Development, Alliances and Strategic Planning.
Apriso Corporation, President and CEO
At Apriso Adam was responsible for the operation of the entire company. He grew Apriso by 70% over 5 years. He transformed the business from a services to a products company and globalized the company in both product and channel. He grew Apriso client
base by 190% and developed and executed the product and technology vision for the business. He hired and build the Senior Management team and in round “B” raised, in 2002, $16.1 M.
ADP- Dealer Services , Senior Vice President, New Markets and Strategic Planning
Adam was responsible for four business units of ADP Dealer Services ; Electronic Commerce – $49 million, Data Products and Services – $52 million, Asia Pacific/Latin America – $3 million, Whole Sale Distribution Division – $17 million. He also headed Divisional Strategic Planning, and was a Board Director of CVR Corporation and AutoConnect, Inc.
SSA, INC., Area Vice President, Products
At SSA Adam was responsible for product management, all product marketing, worldwide marketing communications and marketing programs, new business development, translation services and on-going support/development of SSA applications products. He also was a Member of SSA Executive Committee and Board Chairman of SSA/EDI.
John Wierman- National Sales Manager of F&I Express

John is the National Sales Director for Intersection Technologies, Inc. responsible for the marketing of F&I Express to aftermarket administrators, agents, and automobile dealers that sell F&I products. John has worked for both administrators of F&I Products and General Agents that market and sell F&I products to dealers over 30 years. John has been a partner and owner of a General Agency that specializes in the sale of insurance programs to banks and automobile dealerships. John has been serving both companies and customers in the launching of new products and services that include new insurance programs,marketing channels, and technology.
Richard Apicella – Managing Director of F&I Consult

Rich, as the leader of our F&I Consult Division, brings more than 25 years of automotive and financial services leadership experience to the Intersection Technologies team. As Managing Director for BenchMark Consulting International, he had P&L responsibility for BenchMark’s operations in the Americas, focused on helping clients improve operational performance by using competitive benchmarking and market intelligence.
Prior to BenchMark, Rich was Vice President of Business Development for Capital One Auto Finance, where he developed auto finance partnership programs with Fortune 500 companies and leading internet properties. Before that, he was Vice President of Business Development for Hewlett-Packard, where he was responsible for leading HP’s manufacturing industry business process outsourcing business.
As a Partner with Deloitte Consulting, Rich established and led their automotive retail practice, where he worked with many automotive manufacturers, captives, distributors and megadealer groups around the world. He also spent eight years with IBM Corporation, where he was responsible for delivering IT systems to the Financial Services Industry, including large investment and money center banks.
Rich is a graduate of Rutgers University where he obtained a B.S. in Computer Science, and earned his M.S. in Computer Science at Stevens Institute of Technology.
