Brian Reed, President & CEO

Brian Reed founded Intersection Technologies, Inc. and F&I Express® in 2008. As President and CEO, Brian leads the F&I Express® team in its quest to provide world-class technology to support the electronic processing and eCommerce of the automotive industry.

Prior to F&I Express®, Brian was the founding CEO of Pricelock, an online energy solutions provider, where he led the development and filing of 15 patents, conducted extensive market research, and led the Series A financing of $10 million with Artiman Ventures and Goldman Sachs. Brian also served as CEO of online auto financing company, giggo.com, from its inception as a new subsidiary of Daimler Chrysler to its merger with competitor, PeopleFirst, where he then assumed the role of President. Brian later structured a successful exit for all parties through the sale of PeopleFirst to Capital One for $178 million. Brian became Managing Vice President of Direct Internet Lending for Capital One Auto Finance where he continued to creatively develop and substantially expand the business.

In November of 2005, J.D. Power and Associates honored Brian as a Pioneer of the Automotive Internet Industry for contributing to the establishment and growth of the automotive Internet.

Adam Bartkowski, Chief Information Officer and Partner

As Chief Information Officer and Partner at Intersection Technologies, Inc. and F&I Express®, Adam oversees the technical strategy and architecture of the F&I Express® platform.

Adam founded the software development company, PolSource. He increased business revenue 500+ % in four years. Adam also served as President and CEO of Apriso Corporation, a global manufacturing software provider, where he grew the company by 70% over 5 years and increased the customer base by 190%. He transformed the business from a service-based to a product-based company and globalized the company in both product and channel and raised $16.1 million of Series B financing. As Senior Vice President of New Markets and Strategic Planning at ADP Dealer Services, Adam was responsible for four business units: eCommerce, data products and services, Asia Pacific/Latin America operations, and the wholesale distribution division. He also headed divisional strategic planning, and was a Board Director of CVR Corporation and AutoConnect, Inc. Adam was Area Vice President of Products at Systems Support Alternatives, Inc., a premier operations management company, where he was responsible for product management and marketing, worldwide marketing communications and programs, new business development, translation services, and ongoing support/development of SSA applications products. He also was a member of the SSA Executive Committee and Board Chairman of SSA/EDI.

F&I Consult Managing DirectorRichard Apicella, Executive Vice President

Rich brings more than 25 years of automotive and financial services leadership experience to the Intersection Technologies, Inc. and F&I Express® team. As Executive Vice President, Rich is focused on driving new partners to the company as well as the management of the overall dealer, agent, and provider support infrastructure.

Before F&I Express®, Rich was Managing Director for BenchMark Consulting International where he had P&L responsibility for BenchMark’s operations in the Americas, focused on helping clients improve operational performance by using competitive benchmarking and market intelligence. Prior to BenchMark, Rich was Vice President of Business Development for Capital One Auto Finance, where he developed auto finance partnership programs with Fortune 500 companies and leading Internet properties. Before that, he was Vice President of Business Development for Hewlett-Packard, where he was responsible for leading HP’s manufacturing industry business process outsourcing business. As a Partner with Deloitte Consulting, Rich established and led their automotive retail practice, where he worked with automotive manufacturers, captives, distributors and megadealer groups around the world. He also spent eight years with IBM Corporation, where he delivered IT systems to the financial services industry, including large investment and money center banks.

Roger Hilterbrandt, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing

Roger brings 25-plus years of executive-level automotive marketing, sales and business development experience to F&I Express. As Sr. Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Roger will be spearheading the company’s efforts to roll out F&I Express to thousands of dealerships across the United States.

Previously he served as Vice President of Sales for AutoTrader.com, where he directed a team of over 600 sales personnel and was instrumental in growing the online car-shopping powerhouse’s revenues from $170 million to over $700 million. Prior to AutoTrader.com, Roger was President and CEO of a major, Internet-based finance lead partner of LendingTree.com and E-LOAN. He also served as National Sales Manager at Reynolds and Reynolds, directing over 175 sales and service professionals and the company’s OEM relationships.

Lisa Braun, Regional Account Executive – South

Lisa brings over 18 plus years of sales leadership and business development experience to F&I Express. As the Regional Account Executive for the Southeast, Lisa’s true passion is building strong client partnerships and delivering exceptional solutions to the F&I industry. Based in the Southeast region, Lisa consults directly with dealerships and agency’s to help streamline their current aftermarket contracting process to our more efficient e-contracting platform. Lisa’s proven background has made her known as a trusted adviser to her clients in the automotive industry.

Barry Woodruff, Regional Account Executive – Central

Based out of Dallas, Barry  has over 20 years of experience marketing to dealerships throughout the country.  As the Southwest Regional Account Executive for F&I Express, Barry will work with dealerships management,  agents and service providers throughout the territory.

Barry previously was a Division Manager at AutoUSA, where for 14 years he helped dealerships grow their eCommerce sales, while lowering dealership marketing costs.  He worked with independents, franchise dealerships and publicly owned dealer groups.  In the decade prior to AutoUSA, as a general agent, Barry marketed self-insured vehicle service contract programs.
